Germany coach against Euro 2012 Ukraine boycott

RASTATT, Germany (AP) Germany's soccer coach opposes a boycott of the European Championship in Ukraine this summer over the country's jailed ex-prime minister. Yulia Tymoshenko is serving a seven-year sentence on charges of abusing power. She is on hunger strike to protest the prison's alleged mistreatment. Prominent officials in the European Union and elsewhere have been talking about boycotting matches that are to be played in Ukraine during the tournament next month.
